Fees

At Belmont Preschool we believe in open communication with all parents/carers and staff. Therefore we are presenting this fees structure in order to ensure that everyone fully understands our charging. Our fee structure is fully inclusive of all drinks and snacks. We are open for 38 weeks per year, closing on Bank Holidays and the INSET days when Barming Primary School is closed. Our fees usually include any outings, celebrations or entertainments that are in addition to our session activities. Any additional charges will be notified in advance.

Session Fees

Invoices will be sent by email at the beginning of each full term in accordance with the rate in force at the time. Fees will be reviewed annually, or in the event of any changes to the Code of Practice. Any changes to current rates will be advised in writing in advance.

Morning Session (3 hours) £12.00

Afternoon Session (3 hours) £12.00

Lunch Time Session (20 minutes) £5.00

Illness / Absence

No refund will be given in the event of a child’s absence due to illness, holiday or other reason. All absences must be notified either by phone or email / Class Dojo to the Pre-School on the day of absence. You must immediately inform us if your child is suffering from any contagious disease, and for the benefit of other children attending, you must not allow your child to attend whilst they are contagious. 48 hours must occur before your child can return to pre-school after the last bout of sickness or diarrhoea.

Late Pickup

Children must be collected promptly at the end of a session. Should a parent fail to collect their child within 20 minutes of the session end, a late collection fee of £3.50 will be charged and a further £7.00 for every half hour thereafter.

Late Payments

Fees are due at the beginning of the term, but payment can be made in instalments if necessary. If, without negotiation, fees are not settled, we are left with no alternative but to withdraw your child’s place, and if necessary, take legal action to recover the amount owed. Children in receipt of Free Early Education will be unable to access any additional fee paying hours until outstanding fees are settled.

Payment Methods

Invoices can be settled by direct payments into Orchard Academy Trust’s bank account, or by company voucher schemes.

Free Early Education

We are able to claim Universal Funding of up to 15 hours a week for children from the term following their third birthday, and extended funding for 30 hours per week for children whose parents meet the necessary criteria. We are also able to claim under the Free for Two scheme for children who meet the necessary eligibility criteria. Please ask for further information.

Totally Free Pattern Over 38 Weeks

Two, three and four year olds will be funded to a maximum of 15/30 (if applicable) hours per week.

Morning Session 9:10am to 12:10pm 3 hours free over 38 weeks (term time)

Afternoon Session 12:30pm to 15:30pm 3 hours free over 38 weeks (term time)

Children accessing sessions outside of their Free Early Education will be charged at our current rates as shown above. You will be invoiced in the usual way showing how many free hours your child has accessed in that period and what the additional charges are.

Behaviour

We do not support the exclusion of any child on the grounds of behaviour. However, if your child’s behaviour is deemed by us to endanger the safety and well-being of your child and/or other children and adults, it may be necessary to suspend the provision of childcare whilst we try to address these issues with you and external agencies as appropriate.
